Who Are You Wearing?

“Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Rom 13:14).

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”(Eph6:11)

On the Red Carpet of many award shows the most important question the interviewer asks is “Who are you wearing?” The artist proudly  states whether it Gucci, Versace, or some other major designer; also in our everyday lives many of us proudly wear our Coach,  Micheal Kors and other famous designers, yet we often times we are not wearing Jesus Christ.

Beloved lets us proudly wear Jesus; let truth be around our waist like a  belt as we put on the full armor of God, don’t be ashamed to wear our shoes to spread the Gospel of Peace. Paul declares “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes”(Rom1:16).

The Word of God admonishes us to clothe ourselves, and to put on the whole armor of God. this means that it is our responsibility and not God’s. Stop walking around naked. Coach, Micheal Kors, and Fendi cant cover and protect us from the evil one; so it is imperative that we remember to put on Christ above all else.

Let us wear truth, love, righteousness, faith, peace, and joy with His praises on our lips.

Next time someone asks “Who are you wearing?” you should proudly respond Jesus Christ!

You don’t even want to put your fancy bag down anywhere….because you value it. How much more should we value the true designer Jesus! Wow….love it
