Cross Words – “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46

Jesus lost the Father-Son relationship with God when He took our place on the cross. Jesus was Forsaken by the Father, so that our spirits can cry out, “Abba! Father!”  Today, you can call God “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15)

Jesus was abandoned, so  God will always be with us ,“I will never leave you nor forsake you!” (Hebrews 13:5)

Jesus was rejected  so that we could be  ACCEPTED.” Wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” (Eph. 1:6)

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Cor. 5:21)

Jesus took our curse at the cross so that we can receive only blessings from God.

God is for us and He is not against us. The body of Jesus paid the price for our sins, curses, sicknesses,God’s anger and condemnation.

Beloved we no longer have to live a sin conscious life instead we  live a life  conscious of God  knowing that we have been reconciled  to God through Jesus Christ. So now Beloved go enjoy the Grace, and abundant life that Jesus has provided!
