“Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart…” Jeremiah 15:16 (NKJV)
In times of persecution and uncertainty Jeremiah went to search the word of God and found what he needed. Jeremiah then ate the word, which means he mediated on it. Therefore, joy and rejoicing exploded in his heart. This explosion destroyed fear, bitterness, frustration, and every evil seed that was trying to take root in his heart. Beloved, whenever fear, hopelessness, unforgiveness, giving up, or any negative seed creeps into your heart or mind; know that you don’t have to let it fester and sink into the pit of despair. The quick and powerful word of God will bring joy and rejoicing to your heart.
Matthew 7:7 says “..seek and you shall find.” Beloved, seek the Word today, you will find it and it will bring you joy and rejoicing.
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10
